"Nootka" is a 2003 imported Zuchterband Fur Deutsche Pherde E,V. (ZFDP) palomino mare. She was sold through the well know Gestut Falkenhorst in Germany, and imported as a weanling. Her sire, Nuget, was a palomino Czech Warmblood stallion. Her dam, Maple Leaf K, was a palomino ZFDP mare, and the first foal of the famous stallion Mascarpone. She is approved Main Mare Book of RPSI and Weser-Ems. We are thrilled to have leased Nootka for the 2008 breeding season, and are eagerly anticipating her 2009 Wedderlie Mardi Gras foal. *UPDATE* He has arrived! A beautiful palomino colt. |
