Highlife's Bodyguard x Conda (Chamberlain)

Chanel is a black German Riding Pony filly with established and respected GRP bloodlines.  Both her sire and dam were imported from Germany and represent some of the finest bloodlines in GRP breeding.  Chanel is an elegant and refined pony that closely resembles her sire in appearance.  She has very good movement with elasticity and correctness at all three gaits. Although petite, her proportions are horse-like and she is big bodied.  Chanel  is also sweet and easy to train. Chanel is an excellent prospect for sport or breeding.  Her movement suggests dressage potential as well as hunter talent and her sire and dam both have excellent jumping ability.  Her bloodlines and guaranteed pony size make her an ideal broodmare prospect to cross with any of the 148cm pony stallions or small warmblood stallions for a pony offspring.

Chanel's sire Bodyguard is a direct son of the famous sire Black Boy.  Black Boy traces back to the famous warmblood stallion Grannus.  Bodyguard is out of a Viktoria's Chirac mare with British Riding Pony on the bottom of the pedigree. Chanel's dam Conda actually competed in the jumping finals of the Bundeschampionate prior to importation. Conda is by Chamberlain (Condor I) out of a Constantin dam. 

In order to find another filly with bloodlines like this would necessitate costly importation (approx 12,000 for import alone as of 2007). Chanel is currently 2 years old and for sale for $10,000. Price to increase over the next year.  If not sold by Spring, Chanel will be started in training and bred for a fabulous GRP foal in 2009.
